I scanned some of my stuff in only to discover that my scanner sucks a**! Then I used the afternoon sun to try my best at taking pictures of my sketchbooks without a tripod. They actually turned out pretty good after a bit of adjustments in Photoshop. So I uploaded, categorized, commented and tagged a couple of works. I'm not always a 100% sure on which category things should go in to please lemme know if I'm way off base. Also, what kinds of things should I put in the tags; materials or subject?
I'm already feeling a bit more creative after revisiting my stuff and seeing what others have done to take their work a couple steps further.
I've always loved drawing. I was the one that kids referred to as 'good drawer' in elementary school. This was reinforced in 1996 or 1997 when I ran into my friend Carly in the Sydney airport. I hadn't seen her since elementary school in Vienna, Austria. One of the first things she asked me when the whole "OMG! I can't believe it's you!" stuff blew by was "Do you still draw all the time?" At that time I wasn't drawing seriously at all, I was just taking some clay classes at my high school. I hadn't taken a drawing art class since middle school.
I should break out the new sketchbook.
